hey I'm about to order my rb25 and also want to order what ever mounts I'm going to use. I just want to double check before I buy them. my question is can I install the motor if I use a x-member out of a r33 and nismo motor mounts? also will the r33 x-member just bolt right up or will I have to mod that some how. this seems like the simplest way for me to do the swap. from what I read the hood clearence is kind of a issuse with the stock IM but I'm upgrading mine so that should be taken care of. any help would be great thanks.

from what ive read , and dont quote me on this one , but the factory mounts dont put the motor where it needs to be..... u will have hood clearance issues among other things.... from what ive read , its best to get a kit from Mckinney , sykoperformance, or tophat....... but id talk to someone else who has actually completed the swap before buying everything.... but i do know u need the R33 Crossmember... hope i helped some.... but like i said dont quote me

It worked fine for me...

R33 x-member + Nismo mounts + R33 S1 RB25 -> PS13.

There ARE clearance issues with the hood, I cut the skeleton out. BUT if you are not keeping the stock IM you have nothing to worry about (and don't have to touch the hood).

My dad commented "I would have never believed it! But it looks stock!" I think it is how it should have come from the factory
