i just got my hands on an r33 lsd for my 91 s13 for 20 bucks i was told that it would bolt up but i would need 92- 94 j30 axels to make it work along with swapping out the rear cover for the one on my stock open diff. my question is this true if not is there any way to get it to fit?

it should work but i dont know about the j30 axles. you definately need either the output shafts from a vlsd with the correct axle pattern or you can use jdm vlsd axles as they have the 5 star pattern. either way 20 bucks is a steal for the diff so any money you spend on the correct axles you will still have gotten a bargain. also you do need the rear cover from your stick diff but that is nothing to swap

i was also told that 300zx axels could work to becasue the hubs on the diff are a five bolt star pattern do you know of any other axels that have that?
