I purchased a R33 GTS after yrs of lookin and saying someday. I got the car for a great price with some staggered wheels. But the car doesn't idle out. Once it's starts it revs between 1000 and 1800 rpm. It bounces up and down for about 30 sec then if i'm not pressing gas it cuts off, but only if the car has been running for a while. If not then it it start then cuts off. I feel as if it's something to do with the airflow because when I'm driving and would press gas and it would feel as if it's has to think about it before if launches and if i jut tap the gas the car would just constantly jerk. I have no idea what is causing this and any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I am guessing that since you said just GTS, that it's an RB25DE, correct?Or is it an GTS25?

Either way, check out the RB forum and post up there, you might have better luck as that's a dedicated RB engine forum here----> zeroforum/135

And I would suggest maybe try replacing the MAFS, or checking your IAC (Idle Air Control) valve to make sure it's clean and working properly.

Yo just wanted to help out i know a 300zx that has the same problem... We ran a computer check on it and it may be the Knocker Sensor... All Nissans are basically the same as it way the engines are made... I have a Rb25 and mine did the same thing... But i replaced the Knock Sensor the AFM and the MAFS and the IAC...
