R33 Tail Lights...on a 240??

Here's an idea that I have had... Thinking about converting my 240SX (1995) into a Left-hand Drive Skyline. Should I go with a full custom fiberglass kit, or just convert with R33 Skyline taillights?? I am working on making an awesome (and somewhat original) 240. So what should be done? Partial Skyline, Full R33 Skyline, or Stick with S15?

You asked for my opinion, so here it goes. Dont try to make your car look like an other car. 99% of the attempts at this fail miserably. I would personally do extreior mods that help the flow of the car and follow the original lines that Nissan spent years developing. If you want a Skyline, buy one.

Its like converting a Fiero to a Ferrari. Lame.

navan bumper with a grille and final konexxion (or however the hell you spell that) headlights bring out the zenki's natural good looks better than conversions or kits. stay away from them.

This was well said. Very well said. People don't realize how expensive modifying the exterior can be and end up cutting corners to finish it. This can be devestating on the appearence of the car. As much money as you'll spend doing the left hand drive conversion, S15 or R33 headlights and tail lights you could'vd bought a S15 or R33. Although if you're a "baller" and have huge amounts of money under your mattress then definately go with the R33. I know a guy in ATL that did his and he spared no expense. The guy bought a R33 GTS in Japan and shipped it piece by piece. Stupid? I don't know but it was bangin'. He did the interior, engine, headlight and tail light. If you look at the S14 and compare it to the R33 the body lines are very similar. Same deal with the S13 and R32.

look its your car do what you like, but if you make it into an r33 go all the way with it. just make sure your looks equal what you got under the hood. so good luck man on what you decide post some pics when you have it done.

I personally am very sick and tired of seeing these god damn ricer-inspired conversions that started back 5-6 years ago and still seem to pollute the minds of innocent youth.

Leave the 240sx alone. Please? I will consider it a personal favor if you do. Just leave the poor car alone. Be original, keep the car what it was meant to be, just maintain it, keep it clean, and treat it good. That will mean more to true car lovers than some overly large R33 lights on your S14...
