To those who have installed the GTS-t VLSD in their cars or if you know, what all did you need to install the Skyline diff? output flanges and pumpkin or what? Thanks.

You will need to use the output flanges of the skyline (half shafts) as well and the pumpkin assembly. Some GT-R lsd's and GTS lsd's have the 2 bolt pattern that will not bolt directly into your 240 (hicas caused this), so you can replace the diff backing with your stock 240 diff backing and viola have it installed in no time. It uses the same flange for the driveshaft so there's not too much custom work.

The LSD I installed was from a rear end with HICAS and I didn't have to do any mods to get it to fit. Bolted right up.

Did it have a two bolt or four bolt rear casing? Most LSD's from a Skyline with Hicas have the two bolt pattern instead of the four.

This one had 4 bolts. I am 99% sure it's from a Skyline because I have the whole rear end that has twin piston calipers and 11" vented rotors. It also has a steering rack on the back too. It's either an R32 GTS or R32 GTR.

Yes Cyris, you are correct. The 5 bolt 300ZX axles are the same as the Skyline axles.

So basically, you guys were able to use the 240 driveshaft, just used the output shafts and pumpkin, and used 240 axles?

We have complete rear ends for z32 TT and r32, r33 and soon will have more coming, I just thought for some reason more was involved. I guess I will try and use the rear end that came with my motor.

Thanks.

if you just need the shafts, we have a dozen, just give me a call 919.759.0533, I am assuming you have a LSD pumpkin, with the flanges on the ends though, dont have those.

you can probably pick some up from the junkyard from a 95-96 Infiniti j30 or 240sx that had VLSD.
