If I were to use the Front Brake Caliper & Rotor and hub or what not on the S13 front brake would it work or no? and if it did work what kind of brake pads would I get from liek Z32 or something? thanks

Check out importnut.net. The 300zx brake swap will give you an idea of the problems you'll encounter with the front z brakes. I assume the r33 brakes willhave the same issues. I'm fixing to do the same swap and I'm going to get aftermarket front hubs, even though I've got an s14 for front end parts. I figure I won't need spacers for my coilovers and I won't have to use any s14 parts like ball joints.

i have those brakes on my z32. They are bigger than the 300zx brakes, not just a little farther away from the hub. You might be able to squeeze by with 16" wheels and just the right offset, but i used r33 gtr wheels on my z32. (17x9 + 35?) Those wheels will not work on an s13, but I suspect that a 17x8 5zigen fn1 at +25 offset would work great. I have those on my 240sx and I have plenty of clearance to z caliper.

I can check, however I just remembered that the gts r33 used the same wheel as what the s14 se had on it. So it should clear.

Here I what I found out with mine. I have R33 GTS brakes that came with my clip. The rotor is 30mm thick. They are 4 piston calipers. I am going to redrill the rotors for 4 lug use. I have some cheap cheezy 16" Zracing 5 spoke wheels. They rub the brake caliper with out any spacers. With a 5mm spacer there is about 3mm spoke clearance. I plan on running the R33 Master Cly that came with the clip. It's 15/16th inch. the only issue with it is the lines come out the other side but that will work out better for keeping the lines away from the turbo/manifold. I hope to have this setup working by next weekend.

no way dude, there is a distinct diffrence between the "r" calipers and "s" calipers.r32 gts-t = z32 na/tt 30mm al calipers for sure.the r32 gtr calipers are the same as the r33 gts-t and the r33 gt-r are significantly bigger than the r32 gtr calipers.seen all 3 types up close and personal and there is a diffrence.oh and the gts brakes blow, it was only the "-t" models that got the big brakes (ie r32 gts-t, r33 gts-t), from what i recall the t stood for touring.

heres my R33 Brakes on my stock Se wheels.only problems Ive had is my damn R33 rotors squealing like a stuck pig when pressing the pedal. Damn its annoying but I'll be getting new rotors soon hopefully, IMO they look better than the Z32 calipers.
