R33 GTR wont rev past 2500 rpm, safe mode?

Hello, New to forum, first skyline, car runs great for about ten minutes then wont rev past 2500 rpm, It gets worse and worse, I unplug the battery and it resets then starts up after a while of driving. I got some maf cleaner and I'm going out right now to clean the mafs. anyone else have a similar issue? stock motor, intake, but has exhaust system and possibly no cat. could this be the problem? Car was imported by motorex and maybe it has some special computer program or equipment? any help is appreciated, in los angeles area.

Take apart the MAF housing and check for loose connections. Clean and resolder if necessary.

+1 Sounds like it could be the MAF.
