Has anyone ever done this? I'd like to get some pictures if there is one out there or if some of you photoshop gurus can handle it. Buddy of mine has a front clip and was wondering if it's worth doing?

hey I feel pretty dumb for actually google searching for '280sx' its all good, I understand, I work graveyard shift and drive for two hours in bumper to bumper traffic. you'll all have to forgive my grammer from time to time.

- back on topic, no I've never seen a r33 front on a vert, let alone a s13 chassis. I have personally helped fabricate a s30(240z) front end onto a s13 fastback. that came out pretty good. I don't think the 33 front would look too big, just as long as the bodywork is done right. 33 isn't a whole lot different from a s14. I say do it!! but i'm insane

I still think it will look weird. The R33 front has too many curves and look how big he headlights are

To me, I think the vert would look better with a r32 or s14 kouki front and a R33 would look better on a S14. But thats my 2 cents. Its your project though, I say if you wanna do it then by all means seeing as you already got teh front clip. I mean who knows, it might look really good

Look how big he headlights are

...lord

I think it looks best on a hatch because the way the body flows, coupes are too square

haha the vert still looks like a box man. the rear at least. Thats why s15 front conversions don't look good on verts. Too many curves in the front and then the rear is boxy. Like RJ said, the r32 and the s14 are the best conversions because they are sharp and not curvy, so it agrees with the rest of the car

the only other skyline front that you MIGHT be able to pull off other than 32 is a 34. but even that will look kinda dumb with out 30/50mm wide body

I'd just like to say, when I first started my conversion most people told me it wouldn't look good. I always say to each his own. but if you do decide to do it, do it right, don't half a** it, and chances are it will look good. or just send me your r33 clip, 5 grand and your car and I'll do it for you haha

widebody and matching body kit would do WONDERS for that poor car. I dunno, I didn't have quite as violent reaction to it as these other guys. Certainly not my favorite, and not something I would do, but I think almost anything can respectable if done right. That one just happens not to be done right.

The only issue i havce with the way it looks is how far the front bumper sticks out. shave a few inches off it and it would look great. kinda of a setback using a bodykit front bumper. i say screw it and go for it man, just have fun and do it right.
