do you think the R33 front end will fit on the S13 without major mod?

One of McKinney's 240SXs (it's either Mack's or Grumpy's, the Corvette purple one with the RB25 swap) has an R33 front bumper on it, as well as R32 taillights. Sheer beauty; I'm actually glad you made this thread because when I eventually start doing Silvia bodywork to my 240, I want the same bumper :)

So, it will definitely fit. The question is, how difficult is it. Let's hope Mack or Grumpy sees this thread so we can find out :)

Are you talking about the entire front end (headlights, hood, fenders), or just an R33 style bumper? I know people have done the R32 front end on S13's, but never heard of an R33 on one. The R33 is much more S14 style (VERY similar infact) while the R32 is more S13. It would be an interesting combo though, but there's a good chance it will look like ***.

Project240...are you referring to the car above ^? isn't that 240 is sporting a s13 front end, with a modified skyline GTS bumper.

Yep. S13 front end, R33 bumper. That's the McKinney motorsports RB25 240SX, owned by one of the brothers, I can't remember which.

Anything can 'fit', it's what goes into making it fit that matters. IIRC, the article or thier website said it was cut in half and resized (because it's too wide)...what else was done, I don't know. Call em.

"The front bumper was originally made for an MC S14 ['97-and-up 240SX]. It's 6 inches wider than the S13 bumper, so they cut it straight down the middle and put it back together."

From this article: http://www.superstreetonline.c...9498/

I've thought of doing this front end before and did a lot of research. Look at http://www.importfan.com I know they have that R33 style front end for the S14.

Good luck.
