R33 Front Calipers leaking fluid...help

Looks like both of my R33 GTS-t 4-piston front brake calipers are leaking brake fluid.... most likely cuz its gettin old. Its a '98 S14. Its slowly leaking and dripping out towards the tires.... the fluid in the master is slowly getting low... I have to refill it periodically to get it up to avoid air bubbles.

1) Does this mean I have to rebuild my brakes? 2) Can I use the 300ZX (Z32) Brake Caliper Rebuild in the tech articles to rebuild R33 Calipers, and will it work just as good?3) For people who rebuilt front brakes before, how difficult and how long does it take?4) And yes I did search.

if you ever tore one apart there is suppose to be an o-ring between the caliper. its sandwhiched. i had mine leaking and found out that there were no o ring. bought one and put it on and it stopped the leak. check if it leaks between the caliper.

also its dangerous driving around with your brakes leaking fluid.

hmm.... so I just have to check if theres an o ring there/replace the O ring? What IF its not the O ring/something else...? Could I still use the Z rebuild kit to fix the R33 calipers (do I even have to)? Can someone confirm this?

It is dangerous riding with leaking brakes and I want to fix this ASAP before anything happens

I just found out that my front right caliper is also leaking where the two halves meet towards the bottom. I might not have the o-ring since the guy who had them took them apart to paint them. And I don't think that o-ring is available through Nissan, since the caliper is not meant to be taken apart.

Yes the r32 and 33 rebuild kits are the same. If you don't have the o-ring you can get them through Mcmaster Carr. I don't have a part number or a size just make sure you get one that works with brake fluid. If you do have them you can reuse it if they dont leak.
