R33 front brakes noise???

Ok guys, i installed r33 front brakes on my cefiro complete rotar and caliper. I am hearing a constant crackling noise when the brakes get warm or eventually gets hot. Its sounds as though the dispads are crumpling up. This noise is not a squealing noise. i tried changing the pads and also tried servicing the calipers but stills is annoying. Any help would do guys. I also have a friend with the same problem and he has on brakes from a R32 on his Laurel.

-what material are you running?

-how many shims did you put in with the pads?

i just installed new Uras pads about 3-4 weeks ago... they only squeeq when they are cold.. after a couple stops, they are golden

i removed the shims. could this be the problem?

na removing the shims will not stop noise.......

Ok, i think i solved the problem. I re-installed the shims with a layer of high temp wheel bearing greese between the shims and pad and now there is no noise. i hope this holds out.
