r33 final drive gear ratio

whta is the r33 final drive gear ratio im in the market for an lsd and dont want to lose to much off the line (ive got an rb25 from an r33) i searched a little but could only find stuff for 300z's and stock 240's gear ratios;are the skylines the same i know that alot of nissan cars used similar or identical pieces i know this has been covered and everyone on this technical forum is going to flame me for asking for technical info but sorry i had to do it

if its from a rb25det r33, its 4.11 thats only IF it came factory with the turbo, you can verify this on the code of the clip if you have one...

According to the R33 FSM the GTS-T VLSD has a final drive ration of 4.11:1.

no i dont have a clip but i am going to buy a diff i just didnt know the gear ratio for the r33 and i figure that since i have the engine/trans from the r33 i may as well get the differential too. is there a link to an online fsm by chance? thanks guys

There are several different diffs you can get, but the easiest / most abundant would be the diff from an NA-Z32 (90-96 Nissan 300ZX). I got my diff when I got my clip :-\ But either way, make sure it has the orange VLSD logo on it.

sweet thanks for the links. im just getting a j30 vlsd i dropped the car off this morning and ended up in the waiting room of this shop till 4pm and i still dont have the car till tomorrow
