R33 Crossmember ?'s

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

Can anyone tell me if the crossmember lowers the steering rack any ?Any other differences other than the notched area for the oil pan ?

Just installed one this week, didn't notice a change in steering rack height, but I didn't measure or anything. The crossmembers are very similiar, just the mounting points seemed to be the difference between the two.

Sorry, I didn't think to take any measurements or anything if you're looking for a precise answer, I already knew going in everything was going to bolt up so I took everything apart and slapped it on there.

This was a GTS-T crossmember, I have no idea if the GT-R has any differences.

GTR xmember = way different

The GTST xmember shouldn't lower it at all.

and the differences for the GTST is that it is beefier than the KA one. As well as the placement of the mounting points for the engine allows clearence to run lower mount turbos hence HKS manifold.
