r33 crossmember and r31 mounts for rb25det

I couldnt find any info on using a r33 crossmember nd r31 mounts has anybody done this. I was told that this combo will work when putting a rb25det into a 240sx s14? sorry if this has been discussed as i searched and couldnt find any info

ive read you can use your stock ka crossmember along with stock rb25 motor mounts(if they came with your motor. i read to drill the holes in the crossmember 1 inch back from the existing holes towards the firewall.having used zerolift/rucks mounts when installing my 25, i dont see how this is possible since the mount kit i got actually placed the holes towards the radiator. if you can confirm this and your motor didnt come with mounts you can have mine that came with my 25

Well i just put my motor in for the first test fit (rb25) with stock x member and from what i can tell with out some serious modification to the rb mounts, they will not work together. The rb mounts are about four inches ahead of the stock motor mounts, towards the radiator.

i thought it wasnt true cause i didnt find anything about it. Some australian was calling americans dumb because we buy fabed mounts and he said thats all that was needed. It was in the comments of a youtube video with a s14 and an rb25. damn aussies
