Im looking for info on doing an r32 to r33 front end conversion. So far I havent been able to find any info for doing any convesions on the R32. Does anyone know how hard it would be to swap a R33 front onto a r32? how close in size are the 33's lights compared to the 32's lights? would it be possible to just swap the lights with minor modification?

thanks

Ride

WTF? WHY would you do that? I don't ANYONE has ever even wanted to do that. It's so utterly pointless, and would look completely stupid. Thats worse than a S15 front end on a RPS13. The BCNR33 front end is larger and a completely different shape than the BNR32 front end. You want to do something cool? Put a BNR34 front end on a C34...

A pioneer? Yes lets all lead the way for rice to find a home here in the land of Nismo.:rolleyes That like the 'pioneers' that paved the way for R33 tails on a BB6 or 3 series head lamps on an EK...

If you want it to look like an BCNR33, why don't you just get a BCNR33?

I have NEVER seen a Skyline with altezza tails. I don't think anyone has EVER done a taillamp conversion on a Skyline for that matter. The Skyline 'afterburner' taillamps are are large part of the Skyline heritage and are timeless, to change them to anything else would cheapen the car. The Japanese were a very angry people when they had seen the V35 WITHOUT the round taillamps. So much so that Nissan was very qick to add that the next GTR would indeed have them and carry on the heritage. The even built a GTR concept car with them to please the people. You can't even get a 2000GTR painted a different color than stock color, much less change the taillamps.

I must ask, 'Altezza' as in the Toyota, or 'Altezza' as in the style?

i see too much flaming on the rice, heh. In my OPINION, if you got the whale wing, clear altezza lights with 5 modes of turning signal blinking, and a type-r sticker on your car, it doesnt matter how ***-ugly you look, as long as your smoking everybody else at the track, your fine. Rice would pertain to those who THINK they are fast and bolt all that stuff on anyways. But if you ARE fast, then that's a different story:oface
