r32 Tail Light conversion

i have a s13 coupe and i was thinking about doing a r32 tail light conversion. is there any cutting away metal or adding metel in places? i am a body man so i have good experiece in replacing and modifing parts. or is it not worth the headache?

It'll be expensive. The holes don't line up and will have an arse load of bondo or other filler back there. Have fun if you plan on doing it.

I believe it would be easier if you have a r32 rear bumper and trunk lid, but it is not any kind of bolt up job. Recommended that you take it to a "good" body shop if you really want it done right (not cheap).

E-mail McKinney Motorsports and see if they can give you pointers. They did it to their RB25DET powered coupe.

do you have the lights yet? kinda hard to know what to do when you dont have parts yet. if you had the bumper/trunk lid then it might be easy, but fabriacting the light mounts would be a little time consuming. but you knew that if your a body man.
