i have a chance of getting a hold of r32 seats.i was wondering how hard it is to get them to bolt up to s13 seat rails.

i heard that like 3 bolts line up, but the 4th one doesnt... just wondering whats the deal.

yea, they are nice seats I was trying to score me a set awhile ago. You have to fabricate a nut and washer type thing for the 4th bolt that doesn't fit, but thats it really simple.

drop weld a bolt through the floor. It's recommended not to just drill another hole as the bolt could push itself through the floor and tear the floor up. SCC's write-up on thier Silvia conversion has a small how-to for it if you want to go that route.

Good find on the seats, though... they are often hard to come by at any decent price.

do be so happy, they are only gts-t seats :) which arent to bad, i rode in them on monday, on the track and they feel pretty good.

so the seat rails from an s13 240 will bolt up to the seats of a r32 seats? im asking this casue he got sparcos and used his stock seat rails and totaly molested them to fit so he wouldnt hit his head on the sealing (something i desprately need to do) when he had his helmet on.

In that case, there COULD be a problem. I've never heared of anyone using the S-chassis seat rails w/ skyline seats. When you hear people talking about putting the skyline seats, they're talking about frame rail and all.I'd see if they fit before you throw down money on 'em.

well i got em, they dont fit.

but they were coming from a friend, and he was giving them to me for free, cause he was just gonna junk em. so i think im gonna go and try to find some rail and all that to see if can get them to work.

can you not modify your own stock bracket to fit the R32 seats?

yeah... but there's no way to modify them? I probably weld my own bracket to the stock sliders and mount them that way.
