Hey guys

After 2 months of waiting I finally got to see my s14 that my friend helped me import. It is in mint condition other than a pretty big crack in the dash. (Does anyone know a good way to cover it up or fix it?)

And ya.. so the same friend has an r32 GTR and asked me if i want to buy his rims seeing as i have the stock hubs on the s14 as it is bone stock. He is giving me a price of $900CDN and wont accept less i could maybe get him down to 850.. my car is white so I was thinking it would look damn sweet. So my question is whether or not you guys think this is a good deal?

PS I still have to wait another week or so for it to be inspected I CANT WAIT!

I've done some research and do you guys think it would be wise to flock the dashboard? How much would the total project cost for flocking?

Doesnt seem like it would be worth it. U might find it easier to go to a junkyard and try to find a dash in good condition.

True, but he hasnt said wether or not its a Silvia or a 240SX (RHD or LHD) Either way I dont think flocking the dash would be worth the hastle.

It annoys me when people refer to their 240sx's as silvias without ever mentioning the name 240sx so yes my car is a legit silvia.. and no junkyards wouldnt have the dash id need lol.. How much would it cost to fix a dash does anyone know?

Also would I need to buy coilovers to make the rims look good or could i do without coilovers until i can get enough moenys to afford them?

Theres a pic of me when i first got to see my car :D

Anyways, I'll upload a pic of the crack later...

Wether or not u can do without coilovers is up to u. If the stock suspension is still in good shape then your good, otherwise coilovers would be a great upgrade. (The pic of the S14 I sent u obviously has been lowered.) Just imagine a huge fender gap and youll see what it would look like at stock height.p.s I kinda hate u a little for getting that car

yeah but no matter how hard I try or how ever many Silvia badges (which I will never put on my 240SX) I put on it will only be a replica, you have the real deal.

They're alright for quick fix, I would search around the net there are ways to fix that crack or seek professional shop.

Lies.

$900 for his (at newest) 17 year old wheels? Hes not your friend. You could buy something new and nicer.
