R32 RB26DETT Help w/ Wiring into 98' 240sx obd2

i've got all the info for the obd1 wiring but i want to know what else i have to modify for the obd2 ka24de harness for the r32 rb26 to work. i have a friend that is helping me that done his s13 rb26 swap and he knows wich wire for the obd1 but both of us are concern on what we have to take into consideration for the wiring on the 98 240sx. please help.

OBD2 is an emissions thing mostly and none of the Japanese cars had it so your car will have to run as OBD1. Wiring should be close to the same from your buddy's S13 to your late model S14. The RB engine harness runs the engine. All you need from the KA harness are things to control the cluster and ignition/start signals from the column. There is nothing you can do to tie in secondary O2 sensors, EVAP goodness, etc. into an RB harness.

thanks i already have the entire ka ecu and main harness taged already for the rb harness i just need to do the lower harness wich is not hard at all thanks i just wanted to make sure.

You must add the F5 plug from your KA harness to the RB26 harness!!!!!

yo im looking to do the same swap r u usin the rb 25 transmission with the rb26 engine? let me know and if you have pictures of what youve been doin please send em ill need everything i can get to do mine email it though to [email protected] thanks hope to hear from ya

yes you use the rb25det trans and it bolts up to th rb26 heres my progress pics so far...http://forums.racebread.com/index.php?topic=1637.0
