I cant get definitive answer on this by searching.

plans are

89 s13 with r32 front crossmember and rb20det.

some say it will hit the sway bar some dont.

can anybody WHO HAS DONE THIS EXACT SWAP confirm this for me either way.

also will the r32 front sway bar bolt up to s13?If so would this clear the oil pan?

Thankz.

IT WILL GET IT WELL OUT OF THE WAY. THE ADJUSTABILITY ALLOWS YOU TO TUNE THE SUSPENSION TO WHAT YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH.

I did the rb20det into a 90 s13 using the R32 front crossmember and my swaybar did hit the oil pan.

The R32 sway will not bolt on. I tried this. However I did cut a few inches off each end of the R32 sway bar, heated it up, re-bent it to shape, and am using that. My makeshift sway bar is working fine so far, and should continue to do so.

yup, like everyone else said, it hits. I dont think its too bad, but it definately makes contact. get in tough with Spec-v5150 and ask him. Its his car that I did the swap on, and he is the one driving it. it is the exact same swap, 90 hatch, R32 crossmember and drivetrain.

THE SWAY BAR HAS ABOUT 1/8" CLEARENCE, YOU CAN USE IT BUT ONE MAJOR TORQUE SLAP AND YOU JUST DENTED YOUR PAN.

It is REALLY close. I actually got my *** under there and checked one day just out of curiosity. It is good for driving and i have drove the car hard with no adverse affects just like everyone surely has. However like Music said.... I am gettign a whiteline adjustbale sway bar eventually after a FMIC, emange, boost controller, bumper, paint...so you can see that it isnt a big deal. It is low on my list of priorities

i have the same question but i am wondering is this true for an s14 ('95 specifically) I would like to use the r32 crossmember and mounts but i heard that it would sit the oilpan on the swaybar. Can i use the whiteline bar without messing up my oil pan? if so that would be SWEET :) then i wouldnt have to order 500$ bullsh1t custom mounts that cost half the price of a clip :p

well the mounts lower then engine so you dont hae to cut your hood all up. I think it looks better when it sits lower from teh pictures I have seen compared to my actual engine
