What would be easier to do the r32 or Q45 brake conversion. For the r32 does it bolt right up or do you need special bracket. This is for an s13.

Actually the R32 is a little easier, neither one takes much effort.. It's just that the Q45 is a lot cheaper.

you're comparing apples and oranges ..

q45s are sliding 2 pistoned brakes.. r32's are 4 piston possitioned and has a stopping power waay stronger than q's. Q's are cheaper, and with just the front calipers and stainless steel lines, you'll feel a huge increase in stopping power. Almost everyone with R32/z32 brakes will recommend getting matching rear brakes, master cylinders, and maybe even the booster. Not to mention they cost more.

umm stronger stopping power, so what? you can lock them, so having even more front bias just means you'll have a harder time getting rid of that bias. too much bias = longer time and distance to stop the car. fade resistance is better with R32/Z32 with the 30mm rotor vs. 28mm thick Q45, and aluminum caliper vs. steel, as well as less flex for better feel and pad/rotor life.

but all in all, Q45 is dirt cheap, and more than enough for street or light track use/relatively low power.

of course, if you managed to find one of the few R32's that has the larger, 11.6" rotors, go with that. those are SWEET. if you don't, sell them to me!

also, for brake clearanceif you have a wheel with a high disk, you can sue r32/z32if not use q45

i personally use GTR32 for all my carsmy cedric has them front and rearmy stagea has them front and rear, the larger sized drilled rotors, and stainless lines
