ok i ve been looking at ecus for my rb20det gts-t and i need to know what the differences in the ecu for the cefiro c32 and the skyline r32. my r32 ecu is bad so i been searching for a new one but i can only find a c32 ecu. Will the c32 ecu work? the number in the c32 ecu is...23710 94L10 MEC-R113 from a c32 laurel. any information would be helpful. thank you very much

Well I have a number 77 ecu which carl h told me is a rb20de ecu, so its useable. I think there aren't any differences between a R32 DET and DE ecu. There are no extra sensors for the DET, at least ones that effect the actual ecu fuel/ignition signals.

I drove my rb20det hard with the NA ecu, for about 3K miles. I ran stock boost, side mount, with a 3in down pipe back exhaust. It ran great even dyno'd at 217whp and 205wtq.

Now that I know I have an NA ecu, I'm going to get nistune before it goes back together. I want to max out my holset hx30 and I don't know whats the lowest boost I can run with its internal waste gate.

Any way, its doable but you may get some detonation depending on your setup. Best thing to do is get your NA ecu chipped with a turbo tune and you'll be fine.
