I've heard that a lot of the Nissan car parts are interchangable between cars. Recently I came across a factory LSD out of a JDM R32 skyline but was wondering if its interchangable on my '90 240sx. I have a KA24E but soon am swapping it out for an SR20DET. The guy that is selling it says it will fit my 240 but isn't certain it will. It comes with the differential and halfshafts, that's all for $400 plus $ 79 to ship. So my first question, is will it work and my second is, is it worth the money? Thanks for any help.

What's the point in adding that if Skylines were only build in Japan? It'd be like saying,"I pulled the motor from an ADM Mustang 5.0" (American Domestic Market).

And hell, why not be the first one to stick it back there and see if she fits?

sorry if this is a dumb question but input shafts would be which ones? And what do you mean by gay gearing? The gear ratio is 4:11:1 and the cast numbers on top (if it makes a difference) is A: 38311 B:10M00. Thanks for the reply.

I'm running an R32 vlsd on my 93 s13 hatch and it bolted right up. I didn't even have to swap out the rear cover. I think that guy is absolutely raping you on the price. I got the whole R32 rear subframe including axles, 5 lug hubs, brake rotors, calipers, and ebrakes for only $200. There are better deals out there so keep looking. $400 is WAY too much IMHO.

Thanks for info, especially on the price b/c it did look like alot for just an LSD. How well does it work out? Do you think it would matter if I got a different one instead or is there really a big difference in LSDs?
