r32 i found

i found a 1992 r32 for 11500, its a GTSt, with a rb20det, they imported it in 10 different parts and put it together. the guy says that it has a US title and after i buy it all i need to do is register it and put insurance on it. he also said that stock boost is 7 lb but he has is set now at 17lbs making 250+hp. does all of this info sound right ????please replythanks

Your gut is telling you it's a bad idea isn't it? Your gut is right.

Stock boost is .7 kilo not 7 psi. Stock is a little over 10lbs 1 kilo is almost 15psi. If he is boosting 17 psi that is bad.That turbo will not sustain that boost for long before it shreds and the injectors are straining to supply the fuel for 250hp if is actually making that. If it is so easy to get registered have mr. sneaky do it and include the cost in the selling price. Be very wary.
