so as some of you know, i blew my engine.

thought it was just the rings that needed to be replaced. so i jumped the gun a bit and bought...

cp pistons +20 overACL Race Main + Rod bearingsEagle RodsNismo Gasket Kit.

so, brought my parts to the shop. they put the block all together.

about to put the head on, and this is what they found...

pretty much like that on all 6 cylinders.....

so i talked to ricky from raw brokerage.... he has a head from an r32 rb26 with bent valves.

while everythings apart, i might as well build the head up as well, no use pulling it off again later.

so basically my question(s) is.... should i continue looking for a r33 head or will a r32 head work perfectly fine in its place?

question#2 : WTF CAUSED THAT DAMAGE??? shop said it was due to running lean and/or timing was off.

what you think??

Detonation/knock does that. Have your tune checked.
