R32 GTST SUnload sensor... what dose this do

i just ran a diagnostic on my r32s a/c system and it threw a code 25 which is the sun load sensor, im ordering one later tonight. im just wondering what this sensor dose exactly?

I was told it was a relay to keep the a/c the same temp in the car.

It senses the amount of sunlight entering the interior and adjusts the climate control to compensate for the extra perceived heat.

i trouble shot the ac system and the display was throwing the code 25, in the sun the a/c sucks unless im moving, in the shade it works great.

i put painters tape over the sensor and it helped out some but that didnt fix the problem totally. im thinking about buying another used one but am afraid if the one im ordering could be bad as well

If you have the part number see if you can cross reference it with an american part maybe off a maxima or something

did maximas have full digital air? wonder if they have sunload sensors... ill look into this.. thanks

I believe maximas did, so did pathfinders, and possibly others. I can probably look up the part number later tonight, and cross reference it at work tomorrow.
