Alphe,You should have setup this thread as a vote and then asked people to justify their vote.

the lancers capabilities are nice, but it gets ruled out automatically by looks. i would definately pick the GTR, but i wonder if my choices would be different if it was offered here in the states originally. naw, i would pick the nissan :D

I would definitley go with the GTR, though I don't know why you didn't use the R34 instead of the R32...why compare a car from the early nineties to brand new ones?

First of all, personally the R32 is the best GTR, R34 is second best, its a bit too bloated. Second, the WRX sti 5 and lanevo 5 are not brand new, they are about 1998. Third, the R32 costs about the same as the Evo5 and WRX all used, withing a couple thousand from each other.

Im kind of torn on the subject myself, hence me posting it here. There are pros and cons to all three.

R32 Pros: Great engine, Nissan, not 4wd all the time.

LanEvo5 Pros: Four doors, lots of new gizmos and gadgets, newer

WRX Sti5: Good engine, lower center of gravity, four doors, newer

I think for pure racing interest, the R32 is best. But for daily driving, the WRX and LanEvo are both more practical because of the subcompact sedan nature. Anyone know stock boost levels of these cars? Im curious as to how the LanEvo and Sti have similar numbers to the R32 with 4 bangers and single turbos.

R32.It has the history behind it, the looks I like, and the balls to back it all up.The other 2 you can just go and buy as easy as a chocolate bar...

i love all of the cars that you listed. But i'm die hard Nissan. so the R32 GTR is my vote. its the flagship of the RB26DETT (i think, correct me if i'm wrong) so you have GOT to love that car. plus it looks amazing. the Lancer and the STi dont look as good IMO. i would absolutely love to have either one of them, but since this is imagination, i pick the GTR :D

That's a toughy. I love all 3.

All in all, however, an Evolution 5 has been my dream car since I bought Gran Turismo 2, so that's what I am sticking with. #2 is the Skyline R32, #3 is the STi, but that is a very tight race!

Driven all 3, the GTR is the best. I don't like full time AWD, so the GTR is the way to go for me. Not to mention the 600HP it can make without even breaking a sweat.

Hmm, decisions decisions

I think I would prolly pic the EVO. I have always liked them and it would be a beast.

The R32 would prolly be a close 2nd cause I have actually considered purchasing one of these just cause :pface

The Sti would also be awfully sweet. I wouldn't mind having one.

Just wondering if you have facts to back that up or are just talking through your mouth?
