R32 GTR Nismo Short Shifter on 300zx?

Will a r32 gtr short shifter fit on a 300zx trans? I know the transmissions are similar but i couldnt find if the shifters are interchangeable.

Not without a lot of custom cutting welding and fab work. The two shifters use a completely different pivot ball mechanisms and attachment to the transmission. The Z32 leaver uses a cross ]--[ linkage to change gears while the R32 uses a direct ball pivot on top of the trans.
