R32 Gear Information Buyer be Informed

Know what your buying:

There are about 4 different rear ends that came in an R32

Some of the sensors locate in different locations...some had a front sensor and in that case a Q45 G 50 companion flange will interchange. Rear sensors will not make the swap because they have no cavity to contain the reluctor wheel.

Here are the ratios available available for the R32 Ring & pinion counts=

37 & 9 4.11 gear Twin turbo 2.6 Liter49 & 12 4.08 gear 2 liter non turbo48 & 11 4.36 gear 2 liter non turbo35 & 8 4.37 gear 2 liter turbo 4 wheel drive gear

2 different housings but look very similiar one for a front sensor and one for two rear sensors.

I got suckered into buying a housing that a forum member was clueless about. He THOUGHT he knew what he had and SAID it was the correct rear end....but did not know his *** from a hole in the ground.

He has contacted me and said he only guaranteed the shape of the gears not the ratio.Well it turns out mr. Que-45 had the companion flange off the rear end and it came with backlash from hell. and no bearing crush.

He has my money but for some reason does not feel any responsibility to me for ripping me?

My guess is he tried to fit it to his Q, and dumped it when he found out it wouldnt fit.

The 4.08 gears in the R32 are actually the same as an S13/S14 model 240sx.

All of the S13 chassis 240’s use the same part (38100-03M60)

dear sir, I honestly think you are going about this the wrong way. You can call me whatever you want a scammer, liar, loser and other expletives that you used in the previous e-mail, that is fine but that kind of talk will get you nowhere I see you have done your homework on these rear ends you are a pro now it seems. Why couldnt this have been done prior to our transaction? We would not be having this problem right now. I was under the assumption it would work and you were under the assumption it would work so we are both at fault. I bought the rear end over a year ago (NEVER INSTALLED IT) and posted a thread or 2 on nico about it and mostly everyone there assumed it would work too. When we spoke on the phone I told you that I never installed it on my car and you bought it knowing that. You didn't even give me a chance to come to an agreement with you. You just started spouting off making me look like the bad guy on the forums. If I were a scammer, I would have told you I installed it in my q45 with no modifications necessary,but i did nothing of the sort. There is no way in hell I would have sold the diff knowing that it did not fit, I am not that type of person. I made sure I sent you a picture from every angle which I did including all serial numbers clearly visible. You are threatening to have me banned and you are gonna come find my a$$?, is that a threat? And you expect me to refund you? You are very impatient and ignorant sir.

Bottom line is you bought something that you had limited knowledge on (my knowlege limitied as well) and it ended up not working out and you think i'm 100% at fault? I never 100% gauranteed you in writing or over the phone that this part was going to be a direct bolt up. By the way no need to "hunt me down" i believe all my info is on the packaging, if you lost it I'll gladly give it to you again. I stand firm on my decision sir. Good day to you.

Did you or did you not represent this was a bolt on installation for a G50 in your advertisement for sale?

It seems he took you at your dishonorable word, and now you are calling him foolish?

Please offer evidence to the contrary and prove him wrong, if you can. If you cannot and will not make him whole, then you are what you avow you are not.

I have a 5-bolt nissan skyline 4.08 rear differential for sale any takers? I bought it a year ago and I just dont have the time to install it. ill get some pics up in a day or so. This will bolt up to any g50, i have done my research this is the right one, there are alot of different ones that dont work but this one will. e-mail me if interested we'll talk prices

The bottom line is his AD for SALE......He obviously does not get it?..He is trying to defend his self with nothing to back him self up with.......

It is the wrong case.....its NOT the gear ratio he advertised and that alone is enough to make my point! He could have checked the gear ratio in about 10 seconds.

So what he is saying is I went and bought something that I knew was wrong and should have had some kind of distant xray vision to get the gear count but was too lazy to use that kind of vision.

And oh yea I just wanted to have something laying around I could not use.

If you got a 4.08 gear ratio diff i think you got a 300zx tt rear differential. It is not the same and it wont bolt up to our Q45. Sorry man i think you got the wrong differential. I noticed that your differential has a VLSD (viscous limited slip differential) the R32 GT-R Skyline with the twin turbo RB26DETT has a 4.11 gear ratio and it is a clutch type differential and not a VLSD my diff has the orange sticker that says ''LSD'' instead of VLSD. I sold one to our fellow Q45.org member (mxr662) about a year ago he has the exact same differential as i do.

Recently I sold a transmission pump to another member.

The transmission that it came out of had no problems other than some clutch wear, but in the most recent post that I can find from him he describes a problem with reverse.

If he decides that the pump is causing the issues that he is having I'll gladly refund him the money and pay for return shipping.

Why another forum member can't stand behind what they sell really confuses me.

On a side-note, I wonder how well that 4.37 differential would pair up with my Z33 6-speed?

Let me give Que-45 a somewhat simillar and easy to grasp analogy.

Heres what you did to Johnny.

Johnny has a APPLE based computer, and he wanted to purchase a copy of microsoft Office. Que-45, you offer to sell him your license, and advertise it by saying YES IT WILL WORK ON AN APPLE SYSTEM, however YOUR COMPUTER IS MICROSOFT BASED.

When he gets the CD in the mail, he tries it out to no avail. He reads the label and sees that the license and CD both have WINDOWS badges, and not APPLE badges.

You falsely advertised, and now that he wants his money back for a completely just reason, you deny him this as well.

You really do disgust me, especially in these dark times, you truly are a thief, liar, and represent the descending class of people.
