howsit guys i have a R32 GTS-T Type M wich is quite factory atm..has a 3 inch exhaust.a pod filter.a bov.a 38mm external wastegate and not much else.still running the factory fuel pump...
the problem im gettin is sometimes the idle is very strong...sometimes its s*** weak and wants to stall..i have the TPS and all that set up properly and i think iv narrowed it down to the variable voltage feed from the ecu to the fuel pump

does anyone here have a step by step guide on how to rewire the fuel pump?? i wana rewire it to bypass the factory controller to allways see full battery voltage at the pump..

would i

use the wire from the ecu to activate the coil winding in the relay (so it can still prime and turn off) and run a battery wire to the coil switch then to the pump?? and then do i re ground the pump to the body??

this is what ive thort up in my head to solve the problem but if anyone has had experience on how to do it exactly (pictures would be sick  ) itd b much apreciated

thanks guys!!

been thinking about this one quite a bit....and my theory is that if i ground the pump to the body (not back to the controller or ecu or werever it earths) i would get better current flow to my pump????

and also if i wire up a relay and use the oem pump feed wire to turn my relay on and off ill still get the fuel pump to prime?? which is wat i want i dont want the pump going and going and going and going....but then use a 12v from the battery into the relay then to the pump i should see more voltage at the pump???

any help would be apreciated cheers

pretty sure iv got the wiring sussed but if anyone has experience can ya help me out lol...or diagrams or pictures???

the main thing is wat size wire to use to go from battery back to the relay....some people are saying 8gage but aint that a bit over kill for a fuel pump??

If you use the factory fuel pump trigger/feed on the relay it will work exactly when the oem ecu tells it to, only at full voltage, and no stress on the oem wiring.

12-14 gauge wire is fine. Grounding to the chassis would work fine, and you would just need a fuse between the battery and pump and you'd be set.
