It is nowhere near bolt on, it's wider and longer than the 240 and with all the bits not lining up, looks awful. You'll haven't even near the ability to custom fit it yourself, and your local shop would doubtedly be much better. Stick with the silvia front end if ya wanna be ubar jdm, or maybe even a kouki 180 conversion, but you probly won't impress as many high schoolers with the latter because they'll have no idea (possibly like you) what it is.

Actually, it can fit, i've seen r32 fit on s13's before, Jeff was even selling them before, but i've not been on here in forever, but i spoke with him for a little bit about it, said all he did was drill new holes, and it all worked out pretty well, just a little bit of fab too, hope that helps.

How about an s15 conversion. They are quite uncommon in my area and personally i like it alot. Little pricier than other kits tho but your talking of an expensive job as far as the r32 front goes

i haven't changed in any way from before you guys made me a mod, I said I wouldn't change, I didn't, and now you're crucifying me for it.whatever homeboy.

You know Chunki, I've seen your posts and I always get a kick out them because you're such a Bush hating whore, but man I love it when you rip people apart because of their +42 offset wheel selections!

lol....... But anyway, where are the neons?

Ryan: Maybe it would have been a better idea? To contribute to the thread with links of examples the way I did?

or using your knowledge on thses subjects, which is greater than mine, to assist in some other way even?Is that too much to ask?

Yes its true, I never felt you were fit to Moderate here, as it seems 7 out of 10 of your posts are negative but you only have yourself to blame for that.

I dont want to have to follow you with a pooper scooper all the time to delete all those posts.

My time is too valuable for that, sadly you ruin the atmosphere of most threads you post into and rarely do I catch those posts in time as I am trying to have a life.

Yes, I fought your Mod appt. I edited that post ,out of politeness when I knew you had temporarily Mod forum access back.

The way you treat our members tells me, that tact was not deserved and thats why you dont Mod here anymore.

You can still be a productive, even respected member, of your club, but you should use your powers for good instead of evil.

If you are tight on money a R32 front conversion won't be any nicer to your budget. Remember you still have to paint it. You said you are saving for coilovers and a vlsd, at the rate of saving and buying other stuff it will be 5 years before you have them. I was going the whole sil-eighty route when I decided the a decent mild looking body kit would look better and end up costing the same. Just an idea about the body kit. You may have to sit on the idea before it sinks in and not just into anything over your head, especially if its your daily driver.

use an R32 hood, shave the corners on the windshield end to match the less severe arc on the S13. Do this first it gives you a point of reference for the rest of the work. It is the same width but a little shorter than the S13 hood.Taking a set of R32 and a set of S13 fenders(240SX is fine) cut them at the peak of the wheel arch and weld the front of the R32 to the back of the S13. This is a complex operation so if you can't bondo a dent don't even try, it's involved.remove the S13 radiator support and trim the leading edges of the inner fenders back some and weld on the R32 radiator support.

If all the steel work has been done properly you can get the R32 bumper, headlights and corners to bolt right up. I have seen this done by a local bodyshop , they did it properly and it looks fantastic.

Alright, Im attempting to bring this thread back to life....

considering the sever difference in price between Silvia and R33 front body clips I have been deliberating between the two for a body upgrade.

I will be having the entire car smoothed and sprayed, so if there is any time to do a conversion like this, the time is now for me.

WIth all of the Skyline and S13 panels and parts on hand, is the swap of parts easy enough that a well learned bodyshop could get everything to fit NICELY with clean gaps without having to charge more than 1-2 hours on custom fabbing?

I think a red/black roof'd S13 fastback with an R33 front and Koukis would looks sick.

not really there are a lot of 14s with 33 front/rear. i personally think it looks ugly as hell no matter how clean its done. i see a lot of super clean 34 conversions front/rear and today i saw a black 34 with giant exhaust rolling in the street and omg it kills the looks of all the cars ont he street. i saw a couple z4s afterwards and they looke dlike @#$ after that image burned into my head of the 34.

i dunno abbout the 32 conversioni always tell everyone its best to save money than do it half assed. my suggestion would be dont do anything until u got cash to do it. i mean just think of how much hp you gained with the manifold. just save it up and built a 2/3/400hp car. gaining a few hp here and there wont make too big a difference.

i dont really recommend intakes either but its your choice have fun though.
