OK, so here is my new dilemma. I just got a phone call from my supplier of import parts and he just got in an R32 GTR VSpec II front clip. The engine has 65k km and other than some scratches on the intercooler it is immaculate. (If those scratches prove to be any problem he'll get me another one free of charge.) Also he said he'll gladly swap the RB26DETT transmission with an RB25DET so I don't have to worry about the ATESSA. The total price is $5,500 and that is either delivered at my door or at any garage. I don't have $5,500 saved up yet but he'll keep it for me for quite a while since there is no one that will buy an R32 front clip around my area. Ideas, suggestions and such would be greatly appreciated.... :-)

If you intend on swapping your 240, this would be the way to go.

atessa was a amazing 4wd/awd system when introduced in 89 with the skyline gtr. it combines the handling of a rwd car with awd when you need it. It senses traction loss and sends up to 50% power to the front wheels...

I still think it would be possible to make the a 240 work with the Atessa...easy i doubt but wierder things have been done. I mean they sell a kit to convert a focus to a RWD V-8. I wish I could afford the engine and another so I sould start taking mine apart and trying to make it work...

the 25 transmission is the right way to go but the R32 GTR was the only RB26 to come with a removeable relay to disable the front drive system, making it rear wheel drive with out having to change transmission.
