Forget either of those and get the 300zx TT diff. It's more setup for a turbo 6 car than those diffs.

the r32 gts-t rear end is a 4.36 final drive vs the s14s 4.08 final.im swapping out the s14 ring and pinion for the r32 one in my car for better acceleration, however it makes you spin tires even worse......

Based on Carl's answer, I would go with the R32 GTS-T.... that's if you have an RB20. That's because the final drive ratio puts your gearing closer to where it should be with a higher redline.

Here are the numbers at redline in 4th gear with 205/55 R16 tires: engine/redln &nbsp &nbsp         ratio  &nbsp &nbsp    mph --------------------------------- KA24 (6500) &nbsp &nbsp         4.08     &nbsp &nbsp     118 RB20 (7500)   &nbsp &nbsp       4.36     &nbsp &nbsp     127 RB20 (7500)   &nbsp &nbsp       4.08   &nbsp &nbsp       136 RB20 (7500)   &nbsp &nbsp       3.93   &nbsp &nbsp       141

And if it's top end speed you're looking for, then even the 4.36 will get you to 169 mph in 5th gear before redline, assuming your turbo is big enough, your car doesn't lift off, and you are either stupid enough or ballsy enough to try it.

If you don't want the R32 diff and are looking to unload it, shoot me an email.

thats also assuming stock redline, some of us shift at nearly 8.5k .the 4.36 rear end is what the skyline came with in japan and is idealy better suited to the rb20's powerband, it is a real pisser for me to shift and fall right out of boost because of the final drive, with the proper rear end i should shift and be right back in boost with any luck.and for what its worth the tail end of my car starts to get a bit light round 140ish, when it starts pointing at some where between mph and the trip meter reset i tend to let off.

That's a devilish posting number you got there carl... care to post again???

So you fall out of boost with the stock final? I wonder if that will change with things freshened up (ie better compression)...

What about using a pumpkin from a silvia? I picked one up before I bought my project 240 which came with hicas (and an lsd). I still have the silvia one. Maybe I should swap them out. Would throw off speedometer though.
