i dont like the whole act of trying to change the car, i understand the siliva front end conversion, cuz its basically a 240, but a skyline isnt. you have a 240. ive seen a civic with a skyline body conversion, very lame, ive also seen a eclipse with a supra rear body conversion, also very lame... besides, the 240 is awesome as it is... my 2 cents

dude i know the guy that owns that car......thats jordans skyvia.....that is quite possibly the worst performed swap ever......everything is held on with zipties....that car has been the but of many jokes in my crew when i was in japan.....well come to think of it zip ties might be the way to go....lets the body pannels just fly off when he drifts it into a wall. that car also has an na sr20 in it and no exaust after the header....its hella loud

I think the R32 front end has no business being on a 240 hatch. The coupe lines permit it (barely), but it really seems pointless to put it on unless you have a RB inside...

I agree that the R32 front doesn't look quite right on the hatch.

As for your other statement, I do not agree that it is pointless without an RB. Like it or not, aesthetics has a place in our car world. The RB may add more credibility to a Skyline look and feel mission. But for a skyline look. You gotta agree that he got the look down. If that car passed me on the other side of the freeway, I would go to my grave saying I saw a R32.

The way I see it, a car is alot like the person who drives it. You could exist in a coulpe of different ways:

You have a car that looks crappy or just worn on the outside like a beater or a track slut and has a finely tuned powerplant that will take it much further than other cars...

You could have a great looking car with body kit, conversion fenders, lights and a big wing, but a stock and needing a rear oil seal BAD...

You could even have a car that is all stock and has no frills inside or out but is reliable...

Or you could have a trailer queen with all the crazy options and bolt-ons, swapped motor and whatnot, and a beautiful body kit with perfect lines and functional aesthetic equipment!

I like the way people feel they have the right to judge and dictate to others what they should do with their cars. If it offends you on some holistic level then don't do it to your car, it sounds like religous dogma or something. You should have seen the 180 with the Laurel front end, you would be ready to to kill someone.

It still doesn't work on a hatch for me though, especially a multi colored one...the full conversion on that couple though looks amazing. Has he ever been pulled over by a cop who knew what a skyline was and got confused???
