R32 Cluster in S13?

I've got plans of doin an RB20 swap in the next few months andread that one way of gettin all the guages to read correctly isto just swap out the s13 cluster for an r32 and wire accordingly.Im just curious if anyone has tried this cause im curious to see what it lookslike and how well the fit is.Pics would be great!!!Thanks!

i am actually trying to do this right now. so far, there are some issues i am having because the Article here that has the color wire and everything are pretty crappy. 3 wires are the same color on the RB20 cluster, the guide is confusing because it says a certain wire for one thing and then down the article is the same wire for another thing.

search for J30 tach, someone was using that as a substitute and it worked as well with little fab work.

I dont like the j30s tach. the numbers look dumb.More interested in the r32 cluster swap.

and its not from a skyline, which IMo is cooler anyways. good luck with this, maybe the installation is similar to the J30 tach?

I am not sure what the J30 uses. But this R32 Cluster uses a Speed Cable.

I seen a pic of a 200SX cluster in a build thread on here.Speedo went to 240KM/H and tach went to 9 and it lookedidentical to the KA cluster...itd be nice to find out a bit more about that.Would probs fit like oem.Then youd just have to use the z32 speed sensor i beleiveand put a 10 ohm resistor in for the tach.Can anyone verify fitment and speedo and tach signal fix??

You can tell by the pictures its definitely not direct fitment...the cluster is slightly cut off...and i know that u got to cut off some tabs andmodify a couple things to make it fit and the rest is just getting the wiring right.

THats f***in awesome looking!!!Is that a euro 200sx cluster or a 240sx clusteR?Like i said they look the exact same but tach goes to 9.Thats exactly what im looking for! Whered u find the clusterand the nismo speedo?Also...is adjustment for the speedo to read correctly difficult at all?

Yes it is a JDM cluster that you can pick up on ebay for around 50 bucks, I got the gauge over three years ago and just now got back to working on my 240...I know I know tsk tsk but i have the original box with part number from Nismo don't know if they still make it or not? took me over two years to find this one! I haven't tried it out yet just put it in yesterday, if i could read Japanese I would tell you more lol maybe you can so i'll send pic! As far as I know the gauge is drop and go! comes with everything has it's own circuit board and gears, so it should be good to go?

Oh really?Most of the ones i seen had 8K tachs,gess ill have to look harder.And oh nice find man, yeh there super tricky to find.And oh lol if its a full speedo then it should be all good,i thought it was just one of them ones that go over top...LOL wish i could speak japanese, sorry i cant help yeh, good luck with that.
