R32 Brake questions

Are the R32 brakes and Z32 brakes essentially the same? Do they use the same brake pads? Do they have the same mounting dimensions.

No, they are slightly different. Based on what I've heard, it's better if you get z32 calipers since you can get parts more easily.

What about the JDM Fairlady 300ZX calipers? It seems the only clean calipers I can find are all from Japan

They will work. What you want is 30mm aluminum calipers. If you scroll down a little bit, there's a good comparison between 3 different calipers.
