I have received some interest for this intake and need 3 orders minimum to get this ball rolling. More orders are welcome. I'm offering these at one hell of a deal. So, I know 3 lucky people want to save some money. Please pm me with interest and I will provide you details. I need vehicle information to get you a quote. The intakes come powder coated black standard.

Placing an order for these tomorrow (6/28/2010). If you interested, better speak now as the deal won't be as sweet after the fact.

For the first gen G guys, they have a setup that is called a power flow intake, which utilizes the stock intake tube, so it is similar design to the JWT with a better heatshield & filter.

$135 shipped for the Power Flow Intake for 2003-2006 350z/G35.

$240 shipped for the Power Flow Intake for 2007-2008 350z Dual System.

Onto the MaxxFlow Cold Air Intake

$270 shipped for 03-06 350z/G35

$410 shipped for 07-09 G35/G37 Dual Intake

$410 shipped for 09-10 370z dual Intake

$260 shipped for 04-08 Nissan Maxima & M35 (single intake setup)

I e-mailed Ed at R2C with that question among others. Here's his response:

I have a new 2010 RWD G37 Sedan with AT. Does Part #CAI 10501 fit my car?

CAI10504 fits your application

What benefits should I expect in horsepower, torque and fuel economy?

Horsepower gains range up to 16 whp depending on the cars ability to control A/F ratio. We have evaluated dozens of the G37’s with ranges from 11.7-14.0 at WOT. Fuel economy improvement would be rare simply due to the processor controlling part throttle A/F ratio.

How long do the filters last before they need to be replaced?

The filters will last as long as you own the car and no expense is required for maintenance.

Does the part void my warranty?

No warranty issues have been raised to this point.

The intakes are also warrantied by R2C as long as you own the car.

Joe, I knew I would be getting a PM from you, LOL.

CougarRed I replied to your pm and you to Joe.

The intakes come in Polished or Powder coated Black standard

There is an optional color of Black Nickel/Bright Nickel that adds $50 to the price.

Interesting... I would be a bit skeptical on what you might get. My price for the 370z and G37 intakes are the same, but on that site, they want over $100 more for the G37 intake, why is that? They all cost the same to buy from R2C as a retailer, no matter which retailer you are and I know what that price is, because I have a list and also just spoke with Ed from R2C intakes on the telephone.

He states "he doesn't know who motorintakes.com is, but they aren't a dealer for their products" and even went to say that price they are offering the 370z intake for is "absurd". Like I said earlier, which Ed confirmed, the g37 and 370z intakes both cost the same price and I can assure you NOBODY legitimately is going to be selling them for $360 to include shipping.

Now if you want to get a real deal and actually get your product, then let me know.

Just had to post up a pic of my new intake. High marks to R2C performance, and to nico user "RED_DET" for all that he did to not only get a great price on it, but very fast response. I am so pleased with it! It took all of 2 hours to put in...and I feel like it could have been done faster, but there was a teensy bit of confusion with the instructions (not the instructions so much, but with me & my public education :) )

I installed it on Saturday morning, and then took it on a 300 mile trip in the afternoon. I got 28mpg for the trip, only because I had the missus sitting in the passenger seat. I think there actually may be the effect that I truly look for in this kind of upgrade: better fuel economy, AND better performance. Bonus points to the sound! It sounds so cool now...especially when you put your foot down. Owners of the G37 should know when you step on it on the highway, at approx. 60mph...you get that cool double shift down that it gives ya, and it sounds even cooler now! When I get the car back from the wife tomorrow, I am going to get about 4gpm (gallons per mile!) all day! And do I care? Not really! :rotfl

Anyway, thanks to RED_DET for doing what you do! Here's looking under her top...my pic of my new R2C intake!Image

It was my pleasure, Chad. I'm glad to see that the purchase put a smile on your face, because in the end that is all that matters. ;) Keep me in mind if you need anything else for the ride.

That was the introductory price. They are now $445 shipped for the black powder coat, which is still cheaper than any where else.
