Hey Everyone,

I would like to ask if anyone had any experience with the R1 sport/sports coilovers? I see these kits being sold on eBay and was wondering if they are any good? A vendor told me that they were imported from Japan, now I didn't ask him where they were manufactured...Hell, they could have been made in China then shipped to Japan and imported from there. However, I seem to remember that R1 Sport or Sports was a reputable company...I could be wrong, I am basically wondering if these coilovers are in the same league as DROPZONE coilovers...Thanks!

My friend had them. They were ok if you drove on smooth pavement and drove like your grandma, in other words, not worth it in my op.

Drop zones not a lot of moneyground control a little more and better.tien a little more then the price of new illuminas and ground control.

So i would save up and gett the good stuff. But if you are on a budget and just want to drop your car and not upgrade your shocks then go get them.

uhm,. i would not trust my life to some cheap ebay coilovers. i dont know abut these for sure but i bet those actually make your car handle worse. and i bet the height adjustment perches lock together too.just think about what might happen to you braking distances and handling. think about what might happen if a kid jumps in fron of your car. . . .i mean, its your choice. but i wouldnt do it
