4Hi Folks, I'm tired of fixing the brakes on my 2004 G35. Anybody ever figure out what seems to be causing the excessive wear problem? I've heard it's a design fault somewhere in the hydraulics. I'd like to take care of this problem once and for all. Has anybody out there replaced system components with non OEM (like replacing OEM calipers with Brembo) until the problem went away, and if so, what components did you replace to PERMANENTLY fix the problem? Thanks. Larry

There is a simple fix. STOP using oem brake pads. Switch out to some aftermarket pads that work better than oem and have way less dust, like Project MU or Hawk.

any R and R for calipers will be very pricey.

if you go with OEM stuff like a 05-06 design you need the brackets, new pad and rotor. which runs like $500-800 used.

Hell any caliper replacement will cost you, new rotors, pad and brackets.

OEM brembos run about $1200 used.

do what you want its your money.
