Written off? Really? Looks like mostly sheet metal & plastic. Is the frame bent from the side? Still, from way over here (on my sofa) that car looks like it could be fixed for a lot less than the book value. :-)

Frog & ibc: yes, I am sure it is "dead" or "written off". "Mostly sheetmetal & plastic" comprises both fenders, hood, front Aero bumper cover.

The radiator, AC condenser are into the motor, as is the hood and inner fenderwell structure; as well as all related components on the driver's side. Both headlights are bad, and it needs a new wiring harness and front radar sensor. The whole front end is pushed over to the right. There is suspension damage on the driver's side as well.

I would love another M56s or a Q70s, ibc. I've been perusing the internet, and they are pretty damn rare with the right options. So, I am going to "sit it out" for a few months, drive my Dakota R/T over the summer and keep an eye out.

Damn man! Sorry to see your car in that kind of shape BUT glad no one was hurt. In the end, it is only plastic and sheetmetal and can be (relatively) easy to replace, as opposed to the alternative. Keep us updated and don't be a stranger!

Its really unfortunate but no injuries is definitely the #1 thing to keep in mind. I know how it feels though, luxury brand cars are so pricey to repair and deemed a total loss rather easily

Ouch that really sucks, but glad to hear no injuries. Hope you can find a new one...keep an eye out for the 2016 Q50S with that new twin turbo 3 liter 400HP engine.

Are the aero sides busted up as well? Is anything salvageable?
