Yeah, sometimes life's a _itch!Nearly the same happened to a friend of mine this weekend, we just finished putting on his new turbo, after startup the car ran a little bit rough at idle so we put in some new plugs, start the car up and it ran fine for a few seconds before the engine started to make a horrible noise in the head (cylinder no. 4), sounds like something (valve or whatever) is broken inside.

man, that sucks, im sorry to hear you have more problems. my car too is pissing me off..damn turbo was making noise today...and it still has that wierd turbo-making-boost-that-engine-isnt-using noise...at about 2k rpm. look on the bright side, at least you arent unemployed and have only $152.60 to your name. i think maybe i need another job...

by god its a miracle........ it came back to life... as soon as i reconnected the IC pipe that goes to the throttle body..... do i feel like a jack arse.... also i let somone else fill the oil as i drained it to fix the return line on the turbo and he put in four whole quarts...still had the filter in, and it let just say it had a bit too much oil... now if only i could get it to run right for more then say 10mins..... now its sputtering and my EGTs are higher then before i set the timming to 15deg instead of 18-20 where i had it ... i dont know today was a half and half day. my other 240 is RIp .. i think a valve is stuck leaving me with # 3 dead and its running like crap ....

Know how to fix a seized valve? 2 words. Sledge Hammer. If it doesn't fix it, you'll at least feel better.

A great man once said, "You only need 2 tools to fix anything, WD-40 and Duct-tape. If it's supposed to move and it doesn't, use the WD-40, if it moves and it's not supposed to, use the Duct-tape."
