All I can say is ...... OUCH!

So far though, it would appear that for all the wrecks we've all seen, the A/C is taking care of it's drivers in such situations.

Glad you're OK.

I don't think you'd have a problem getting it in manual this time, since it's actually cheaper than the CVT

Quick reply and bit of advice from an old fart: NEVER EVER cruise in someone else's blind spot. If he doesn't see you, you're asking for trouble. Either get past him, or back off a car length or two. These types of accidents are entirely avoidable.

Dude, that's one crazy *** crash. Glad you're ok man.

I don't know what it is about the coupe but I've been having this same problem. In my old car, '06 Nissan Altima I don't think I was EVER cut off... well maybe a couple of times but no big deals.

Since I've had my coupe, early September... I've been cut off in my lane to the point where I've had to slam my brakes hard 5 times AT LEAST. It's like people don't see you. Take Saturday for example, on my way to work in the morning, granted... I was doing 100 and switching lanes... but at the time when I was cut off I had reduced my speed to crusing and was probably in my lane for a good 5 seconds at least when this car just out of no where switched lanes. Her bumper was going to collide with my front passenger wheel. Luckily, there was no one behind me or to the left of me. I slammed on my brakes and switched lanes. I was freaking FUMING when I pulled up next to her.

If it hadn't been my exit coming up I would've followed her and gave her a piece of my mind. While I was next to her yelling at her she was just staring back at me with this kind of face.

Glad you're ok man, people need to take driver re-education classes or something.

/agree

I will purposely speed past tractor trailers and what not just because of that.

Anyway, you can do everything right in many situations and still end up in an accident. Glad to hear you are ok. I'm a volunteer firefighter here as well and see nasty accidents almost every other day. I am very surprised how well the coupe protects it's occupants and handles a nasty wreck. Big thumbs up to Nissan.

First glad to see that you walked out, and the roof didnt cave.. Ive been spun out by someone who fled and i caught them (i wasnt like an upsidedown turtle though)... And it truly sucks they got away...

Ive also been pushed into a rail by another car who didnt see us (i was in the passenger seat, and woah what a view i got... it looked like a mig welder was infront of me as the sparks flew by my face... People are concerned about the Coupe's blind spot... ive never hit anyone... People hit the coupe though... maybe we should be handing out those 1" mirrors in parking lots?

Ive just come to the conclusion that other people just suck at driving. Especially select stereotypes which im sure we all know, but its their fault that they fall into the category of a crappy driver because of race or gender. Anyway glad youre okay and that you made it out of that, id be jumping right back in an AC too if i flipped it and came out unharmed.

hmmmm.....hope your not talking bout asians. Cause none of my family have ever been in accidents and we all know how to drive. same for my cousins and other filipinos we know. My moms a nurse and she always tells me to watch out for older folks cause most of the people she gets in the hospital are older people who dont know how to drive. Gender? stereotype..those type of things are so general buddy. Each individual is unique. "asians all eat rice" and "all girls are too sensitive" although there are a number who fall into the category, im sure everyone knows a girl who isnt sensitive and i personally know asians who dont prefer to eat rice.. . mostly from my experience, its younger people who want to drive like a$*holes cause they think it looks cool to switch lanes and waste gas, and older people because they are more unaware. so its an age thing IMO, but even then it doesnt go for every teenager and grandpa. although of course there are people in the category of the stereotypes that get into accidents as well, just like everyone else. It just stands out more to others.

ya i wouldnt go with anything else for the price, looks and power there is no car out there that can compare IMO. i have notice since i have been doing alot of riding shotgun in ppls cars that ppl are really really really bad drivers here in miami it has gotten worse over the years. with in a week i have seen maybe 15 cars almost hit each other and 3 wrecks, just in one week. when i get my car i'm driving very very cautions.

Thats ****ty are you sure, because if I were in your position and insurance only payed for what I owe then that 30K down payment I put down would be lost. I dunno what your insurance is but it should be for the full value of the car not whats left. That means insurance is only giving me 10K for a 40K car. (using Can prices for the car). That means when I go to replace the car I am off by 30K, in your case. That being said my insurance will cover the full value of the car, and depreciation wont kick in for another two years.

What is this, 1800?

Nearly all gender and race stereotypes have been proven inaccurate at this point.

Any trends you see are created by society through socialization. Get with the times man.

Damn glad your ok!

same exact **** happened to me a few years ago in my old altima, an escalade RAN OVER the front of my car while changing lanes @ 70mph. Only by Gods hand did I not crash into the semi next to me. And just like you the bastard kept going. I composed my self and floored it while on the line with 911...hit and run charge FTMFW!

i find that people remember or recon a bad driver if they are a different race.

Honestly its a proven fact that people remember a black/asian/brown person for doin something because of there looks.

U forget the white idiot driver faster then an asian, because of the stereotype build up.

im asian by the way...wanna race?

The only people that scare me are the really old! Around here they drive 10mph below the limit in the left lane, turn signals going all the time, change lanes without looking, and have no idea whats going on around them. When they do finally park they use your door on your car as a gauge of how far they can open theres

I completely agree... I live in SC and just like FL it is a hotbed for senior citizens (at least my town) and I give them a wide berth on the road, as well as when parking.

BTW, riick riick's sig is HUGE
