there where injuries... i got ****** up. but the mustang took much more considerable damage. the passengers of the stang where fine though... i got the majority of my injuries when i had to bust out the window (pw) to get out of the vehicle since my passenger door was wedged against a guard rail and my driver side door was affected by the t bone. waiting to hear from my insurance company to see if they totaled it out. i have a friend that runs a body shop and my hook me up if they dont total it out.

it sounds like they probably will, seeing as the position you were left in when evrything was done. my question is, why did you bust out of the car instead of just chilling inside? were you like trapped in an awkward position that you wanted to get out, or were you just sitting there and felt like getting out?

even if they total it, you can buy it back from salvage for pennies, and use the money they gave you for the totaling to get it fixed. Did that with my 280ZX.

if the mustang was doing 80-90, then it probably demolished the B pillar and the unibody below the door. i'd opt just to get a new car rather than fix that. the car would never be right again

Man Mustangs are heavy as shi* and 240's are light, if he t-boned you going 80mph your lucky to be alive man, or hell even moving enough to bust out of the car. You would think the whiplash alone would atleast put you in the hospital a month or more. And how in the hell did you end up in that position?

pix will be picked up today from the supermarket. befores and afters, and to answer the how question... i was crossing a 4 lane high way with a devider and a gap i was facing east trying to go north and the stang was going south. ill try to scan the pictures within the next day or so.. im going to take more because these pix where taken within 15 mins of the accident.. i want to get some better shots as much adrenaline i had flowing i probably had some shaky shots. and if you got t-bone driver side, and the airbags hadnt deployed yet youd want to get out before they do plus gas and what not was all over the ground, no oil though love those ka's

Cool, didn't mean to come off wrong - I am certainly sorry about you loss! I just want to see how a tbone at ~70 isn't going to crush the frame.

i feel you man, i was t-boned by a brand new cavaler going around 50. i was making a left and the light turned red, i could see the cavalier was stopping so i started turning, i guess at the last minuite she went for it. i knew right away the car was totaled though, the rear passenger side tire was folded in, windows were busted and there were dents on the other side so i guess the car its self bent. i almost got a DA integra, but i drove my friends s13 w/ a SR the other day and i remembered why i wanted a 240 again. dont give up on the dream man!

we need pics nowwww!

don't worry you'll get another 240.

and i can't believe mustang hit you at 80-90. if thats the case you're dead; either from being crushed or from hitting your head.

eh its possible, depends on how the other car hit him. my friend in his corolla got hit by a chevy blazer doing like 110, and he survived fine, although the car didnt. he had a lot of bumps and bruises, but not even any serious injuries.

Id be willing to bet the mustang actualy hit him doing 60ish (still man good to see your alive!)but for the mustange to hit him doing 80 he would have to have been going over 100 before he saw the 240 assuming he braked al least a little bit. was the 80 mph from when the police mesured skid marks?
