So since december ive had these and they were what got me into this forum. The seller sent me defective wiring to convert to the bulbs that work on these taillights blah blah blah. I ended up just soldering the damn things into my harness and they work great, LOVE them! I also did up the tint on the passenger and drivers side windows to match the back. Check out my cardomain to see the pics

next project....LED's everywhere not to look ricey, but to immitate new luxury cars. The front turn signals i wanna do up orange LED. HID headlights, xenon fogs, i already have the LED reverse lights and license, LED brake lights on the way (19 LED's per bulb!), and red LED rear turn signals. Already ordered LED map lights and will be getting LED dome lights soon too. LED mirror signals in blue, oh and an LED third brake light. I think it will make a big difference in the appearance. can i say LED enough...lol

I approve the LED projects, but IMHO, the tail lights are FAIL.

But keep up the originality!

from memory....fog light is H3 (for my 99.5), tail is 1157/1156 depending on your year, and license is 168.

are you dissing my taillights! or are you saying bad idea to put LED's in tail lights?

they look really good in person. the dark tint over the lights doesnt make them look corny like you see on civics. in normal light it looks like a dark tinted out light and looks really sleek with my black paint and tinted windows.

itll take a bit of time. I got the LED bulbs in for BRAKES but i dont get DIM light for nightitme so I need to figure out what kind of circuit i gotta wire. Im back in college though and Im unemployed so insurance and gas are sucking up my bank account but eventually i will get back to it. In the meantime I LOVE MY TAILIGHTS! your rice. LOL

btw my stock taillight had a small crack in it and i hate the design of the OEM so these were a cheaper and more unique replacement. theres 1,000's of qx4s in toronto and i have yet to see these lights on one. I see the ugly chrome ones but not these so HAH! LMAO

I'd like to see the LEDs when you've got that all set up.

... and FYI I like those tail lights (I think they'd only look nice on a black pathy/QX4 though).

I'd like to see 'em in person. . in the past, most aftermarket tails have looked pretty gaudy, but these may just look right with that color vehicle.

indiana isnt too far from toronto....

i can take a video or something if youd like, theres only one other qx4 i saw these on and it was on car domain. its a goldish colour.....looks kind of like urs (it looks goldish) it looks good but not as good as my q's lights. I gotta admit, euros look horrible on some colours, it wasnt until i saw these particular ones i decided to take the plunge, and i never looked back.

i get alot of looks from other pathy drivers, it really sets mine apart.

i just need some rims and touch up some paint spots and im rollin like a pro!

nevermind. those are like slickrogers' lights.

i guess i am the only q with my taillights that i have seen

everyone asks if i tinted them but they came that way. towards sunset it actually looks like they are completely blacked out. i love it.

i love that guys q though, his rims are sweet and that exhaust sounds AMAZING (hes got a video on cardomain.) Jamaicans know how to do it right man. (shutup roger, and fueler.)

if anybody wants them, i ordered them on ebay and the seller is no longer registered (he had ALOT of bad feedback) but i think hes listed as someone else now. He sent me crappy wires to connect the turn signal bulbs (99 is different than 99.5 so he supplied them) the wires had bad soldering. I just soldered them straight on though.

cost me $140 shipped and takes only 15mins to install, if you didnt have to solder them in like i had to. I have NO condensation at all, maybe i got lucky. This is the closest thing to rice ill ever do to my q, my uncle had dark-euros on his BLACK silverado and i liked em and thats why i got the idea to get these. My right taillight was also cracked anyways!

are you talking about my interior maplight LED's? ebay is the best way to go. Theres festoon bulbs made especially for this application cost you $$$ but if you have knowledge with electronics and wiring then you can just built your own circuit with other LED's. The ones i got were all hyper white. Their pretty bright but i want an even brighter look so I plan on making an LED board for the dome lights. As for my tails, i purchased LED brake lights but im figuring out a way to wire them up so that they go full brightness for brake and dim for nighttime rear running lights...lots to do with dual/single filament/2/3wire setup. Ill figure it out eventually.
