ebay, instead of bi-xenon where the HID moves up and down via a motor, this one has my HIDs wired to low beams and halogen wired to high beam, I dnt need high beam as my HID's are pretty much that lol and the bulbs are side by side. the halogen came in very convenient since my one HID bulb died and while i was waiting for the new one i used the halogen function and came to like it. I get flashed brights alot because my HIDs are bright, and people are less tolerant of blue than ABSOLUTELY blnding white ive seen on other cars, but whatever.

glad you guys like the photos!

btw in some photos thers blue/yellow, the yellow is my OEM fog lighting, blends in amazingly with the HID

also notice in the last photos with light reflecting off the wall, there is a almost definite line in the HID mode and the regular halogen mode has light spread everywhere. its actually worse than my HID's yet people are so intolerant of HID's. I plan on trying to aim my HID's lower though since apparently they are adjustable. I might even tint them

QXXX4,

where did you get those dome lights from? Those things are bright as hell!! I've been looking for something like that. Would superbrightleds.com carry these? If so, which ones did you get? Let me know bro.

Love your truck man!! Very nice!

superbrightleds.com does have them lasst time I checked at least. I bought mine on ebay but had to replace one due to LED's dying on one, but havent had a problem since.

My dome lights are LED boards, 36 SMD led's in one board thats about 1"x1", they originally had a + - wire for socket 1157 bulbs but I just cut the wires and connected them to + and - where the festoon bulbs go.

Could you guide on the website of superbrightleds.com as to which ones are they? That would really help.

Thank you.

let me know if the link didnt work! I got the 36LED one on ebay for half the price they sell theirs with shipping included, but 2 out of the 4 boards eventually had mutliple LED's go out due to the 12+V variance. Im not sure how good SB-LED's products are but alot of guys here have bought from them it seems and all are very happy with their purchases from them.

I got mine in white, and they shine off the leather real nice. they are very vivid and really set a cool tone inside the car. they totally kill the tint when their on you can see everything in the car, and when their off, total darkness.

I just hated how dull the OEM bulbs are, this upgrade made my interior feel so new at night, now when i get into any other car it feels so crappy lol

If you just want a replacement without rewiring/etc, take your map/dome lights out and measure them, then find the correct bulb size/type on the site in the number of LEDs you want. I just ordered some from there today. My festoons (domes) measured 30mm long. You should have the same since we have the same truck. I got these in 9 LEDs in white

Qxx why don't you just turn your headlights off and use your dome lights, wow looks like a supernova in there!

Great photos, I swear you inspire me to re-make-love to my truck as much as my new rims did!

Just got mine today. I put one in and it didn't work, then I remembered they're polarized so I switched it around and voila! I got two, one for each dome light. They look pretty spiffy but I'll wait til dark to deliver my final verdict. I'll probably end up replacing all interior bulbs!

EDIT:Final verdict: not quite as bright as I had hoped, but I probably won't be sending them back or getting new ones.

EDIT EDIT:Do they take a little while to warm up? They're not that bright at first but seem to get a tad brighter after a min.

hehe

EDIT: Actually, I take it back. The center seems brighter now. Before I had them angled/pointed downward and towards the back seat, but I pointed it towards the front seat and now it's great!

so, can i just get the 30mm, or is that even right, festoon, or do i have to get the pcb kit for $22? or can i get 2 of the wled-xhp6 wedge base bulb and then 2 of the 168/194 Miniature Wedge Base Socket solder contact sockets?

why is everyone so focused on sockets here, buy anything as long as it has wires going to + and - and connect that + and - to where the festoon goes. Dont pay $22 for one PCB, go on ebay and buy a bunch for that price like i did

so, your suggesting to solder wires on the ends of a festoon and then solder the other ends to the + and - on the plug? If that be the case that doesnt sound like a very sturdy connection. it would wobble around

no im talking get a PCB LED board, that comes with wires that go to a socket, like 1157 (that would go into your taillights) cut that socket off, tie those wires to the festoon and sturdy it with tape. I understand you want a sturdy connection but ive never had an issue because i tie alot of wire around the posts, which also have a small hole. Besides, if that LED goes out, your looking at a big mess to desolder

oh. Well that doesn't sound so bad. Another thing. most of the led light boards i find only emit light forward and out the sides. but tail lights work by reflecting light off the reflectors in the housing. Seen any led boards with forward and rear facing led's?

not really, the socket type LED bulbs are usually 30 degree angle at most from point of light output, if you have a clear housing like mine itd work but with transparent OEM housings its not such a smart idea....if your talking brake lights
