thanks to fueler and slickroger for the bulb size #. i acutally cracked open my dash a year and a half ago but had the wrong bulb size and never got around to it!

These are single LED blue, the pictures turned out really good but they could be a little brighter. Ill probably get 3LED or 5LED bulbs soonBEFOREI at least got one first.......Check out my BLUE odometer! it was just one bulb guys! lol i had 10 of the bulbs ordered so i tried to find ways to use em and that was it.this is how bright my interior is...no flash on camera thats all dome light (not even map lights are on!!)The blue bulb on the top left is the odometer light. Looking at this upside down. Notice those empty holes in the middle? for P,R,D etc lights!!!! damn! i love the cluster from the 01 qx4...surprised to see those holes and even tried to get lights in there till i realized thers no actual output for them on this cluster

as always....

Very VW-ish...blue numbers and red needles. (I shoud know.)

Is the blue easier to see/read at night? I guess they were white before, so how does the blue compare to that.

There is a sponsor on this site, Import Intelligence, that does custom gauge faces. Have you thought about going that route for a different look? I'm not suggesting going crazy, but something slightly different than stock to give you a better contrast or go with you vehicles theme.

that import intelligence site has good choices for gauge faces...but itd be nice to see pics of what they look like!!!

the overall appearance is very blue. The red needles arent as visible as they were they definately are darker, but I will probably get brighter LED's later on

My SES light is GONE? where IS it though lol

pathfinder 9035....lookin good...i like the font of your numbers very sporty

I've seen several ppl. change out the lights in the gauge cluster and a few in the climate control. Has anyone changed the lights out in the gear shift, the 4x4 selector, the compass/thermometer, and/or window switches???

I'd like to go blue but I don't want it to be half way...

id be careful. I tried to get at my heated seat switch lights...to find out its an orange lens not bulb...and broke the clip to hold the harness in so now one switch is not functioning. You may end up breaking a delicate component in the hopes of changing the LED

I dont even want to imagine breaking my 4x4 selector switch. And the older Q's dont even have lit window switches. As for compass/thermometer....youd have to get a whole different display since its an LED segment display not just bulbs

Dude I'm so jealous of you guys, it sucks I can't change my speedo and tach's colors, damn florescent tubes for backlight! Looks good Brian, it's almost like we're in a race to see who can change out to most amount of tungsten lights first. What's next for you? I'm gonna work on HID's for the fogs in a few weeks and thinking of orange LED's for the turning markers.

lol thanks. next up is finishing off my LED conversion on turn signals and brake lights, i ordered a led flasher relay, bulbs, the whole shibang. Totally "ricing" out my q lmao but i like the look of LED and the idea i nvr have to change the bulbs again. I also ordered those mirror turn signals. blue of course. I hope they look good and not s***ty or else ill rip em out

as for ur dash lights...i say their fine..the 01 cluster looks gorgeous compared to ours, but i get why u want to change them with that gorgeously blue centre console
