First off id like to thank everyone for their advice and help! I finally came across a great deal..(used)-Boss 307 20" chromes-Falken 275/45/20 (barely used...still has the pretread on sidewall)$900 CDN!!

I went to midas for an alignment, and balanced the new wheels, was there with the mechanic the whole time..the wheels pretty much didnt evn need balancing, my truck has almost perfect alignment already as well. The wheels literally had no issues aside from one broken cap....that i will be fixing later. the guy siliconed it on (told me before i looked at them) im going to try to find a new one or resilicone the old one.The mechanic went for a good test drive...evrythngs great...but i went for a 1 hour drive and heard at low speed...a low tone howling...sounds like wheel bearing...i was told they need to be replaced...thats the only thing i could think that would make that noise. even my brakes are mint. So ill get the wheel bearings done cuz the noise is getting louder it seems. Price??

Anyways, heres the pics!!! (camera is charging so i used my phone, better pics later this will do for now)

BEFOREAFTER (i now have bigger wheels than my parents' land rover!!)view from my bedroom windowdefinately much wider....

i hope you guys like it, i couldnt be happier right now aside from that wheel bearing noise!! the heavier wheels must have expediated the wheel bearings weakness lol Ill be painting those rusty rear drums soon hopefully and if your wondering...there is rubbing when i turn all the way, not even all the way actually just before all the way, so you guys are nuts going with low pros and 22s but hey its your choice!

and wheel bearings can be repacked for less $$ than replacement that sucks tho, the noise started when they installed the wheels?? are you sure its not overtightened lug nuts?

well there was a "clinking" over curbs before the wheel upgrade, after the upgrade that clinking is pretty much gone but i hear that howling as if its howling for half of the revolution of the right front wheel. my mechanic friend said the clinking was the wheel bearings or the sway links....or both. The mechanic at midas said im due for new bearings as theres "some play" So im figuring the extra driving on the bigger wheels caused the bearings to lose some grease or w.e they do. I dont think he overtightened..he torqued all bolts to 100 ft.lb right in front of me

and as for 18s......i still wouldnt have minded! im soooo careful over curbs and watching for potholes..i dont wanna bend these rims!!! but yea...glad i got 20's

wow looks real good, I checked prices for the links, and they run about 50 bucks each...retail. Also looked and questioned everyone at work today, not TSM update for the r50 hard shifting, I did notice a bulletin for transmission flaring, which is weird shifting between 1st and 2nd or, 3rd and 4th, but parts need to be replaced at owners cost. No computer adjustments that I can find, and I really took time looking through our assist program....sorry bud

Those rims are sweet, tires look good as low profile too.

As for the stabilzer links, if you keep looking, you can find them on ebay for $20/set+ $10-12 to ship, and they are easy to put in, from what I've read.

Probably not. OEM aren't cheap, at lesat from the stealership.

And the links aren't that easy to put on. There's likely some rust on yours and may need to be cut off, all depending. Mine were a b****. Broke a tool on the driver side. And there's not salt on the roads here!

NEVERRR!!!!!!

lol i was actually thinking about that in the shower yesterday (i eat sleep dream qx4) and am considering changing. I want some sort of cover as i would like those plates to stay nice and new. Smoke grey is probably what Ill go with...but i fear itll be too much black. its the reason why i didnt go with black wheels....i needed some definition here.

whats a hub ring? axle extension? they fit perfect...just some rubbing with the front of the wheel well at FULL turn, other than that theyre awesome. perfectly balanced and i got an alignment done too. Now i just need new wheel bearings as my already worn ones (which i was told would be good for a few more months) are now giving me a noise on the right side due to the bigger wheels
