QX80 BRAKING PROBLEM

Hi, this is Dennis and I am posting this thread to help out my neighbor. She just purchased a 2015 QX80 and has put 1500 miles on it. The car has PFCW and a few days ago traveling about 15MPH three rapid beeps were heard and the brakes locked up without break pressure. Infinity in Salt Lake City has stated they have never heard of this problem and I cannot find any reports on this problem.

Can anyone provide any insight to thus issue? Have you heard of this braking problem occurring?

regardless if the dealer hasn't heard of it or not, it's still under warranty and they should be going through the vehicle to remedy the issue.

EXACTLY! its under warranty, have them sort it out.

however, I will toss out some first steps--

first thing to do is pull any DTC's from the obd port (there may not be any). if the car has a problem, it will tell you at the obd port.

what is likely going on is the ECU needs to be re-programmed and/or the BCM.

Thank you both for your feedback. This far, the dealer has said they have been unable to replicate the problem so their thinking is it probably isn't one. They have requested the car be picked up and have not offered to do any repairs at this point. We will however will try to apply pressure to have them act in good faith to resolve this issue.
