Has anyone seen or does anyone know if the QX56 tail lights are compatible with the Armada's? That is can you install a set of QX56 tail lights onto an Armada, and if so, is it an easy installation "Plug & Play" = Harness wires matchup / no rewiring requried?

No, it is not plug and play. It can be done but there is fiberglassing involved and a lot of work.

I have seen LED tails on eBay but they were expensive ($300+) and too blingy for me.

I mentioned this in a another thread ..

Armada lights are taller .. so the QX56 light will NOT fill up the area for the tail light .. there will be a "gap". Not that it cannot be fixed ..

The only other thing to worry (?) about is that the Armada tail light incorporates the back up light. The QX56 light DOES NOT.

So you'll need to rig up a back up light .. again .. not impossible ..

But NOT PLUG-n-PLAY

So far .. I know of only 1 person to do the mod .. info at ClubArmada.com
