QX56 swap 3rd row for split folding-possible?

Sorry if this has been covered but I could not find anything via search.

2004 QX56 with nearly 100k of trouble free miles-knocks on wood.
One aspect that we always wish we had was a split folding rear seat.
Is this something that can be swapped out?

I'm looking to swap the 3rd row for something that is split fold down.

yes the seats are interchangeable. doesnt matter if you are going from bench to bucket seats.

either you can hit up a salvage yard, fleabay, local craigslist, or the dealer to find the exact color. OR you ca troll some armada/qx forums to see if anyone wants to do the opposite of what you want. even swap.

Hum the 2nd row seats are interchangeable with the 3rd row seats?

apologies bro... i clearly did not pay full attention.

regardless, you have captains chairs in the second row and you want 60/40 bench on the second row correct? if so, you can swap the captains chairs out yourself. the 3rd row is NOT interchangeable with the second row, and you would not want them anyway as they are of a lesser build than second row seats.

as for where to find them, that is still applies as per my previous message. you can even use armada seats of the same years up to 2010 as the q and armada (and titan) are made on the same line in alabama....

i think i confused myself....

i forgot the 3rd row in the early model q is not split. in later years the qx has split seating.
